Wow, a month since I last wrote. I do plan on keeping up the blog more often but my daughter was born February 26th and things have been pretty hectic around here to say the least, plus I have very little knitting to speak of! Most of the time my hands are full with babyholding and toddler-rearing, which is leaving little time to knit or spin. Very expected but I also miss it! Babies are only babies once though so you have to take advantage of all of the cuddling while you can, right?

I do have a couple of little projects I finished while waiting for the big day, so I’ll have to post pics. The Handmaiden Shoulder Wrap I was working on in Silkspun is done (lovely!) as well as an improvised newborn hat I made from the leftover Rowan Cashsoft I had from the bunny ear hat.

I also used some birthday money to preorder two new books: No Sheep for You by Knitty’s Amy Singer, and Lace Style from Interweave. Amazon tells me they’ll be shipping the first week of April… I can’t wait to see them.

It will be a little while before I’m back to regularly spinning so please email me if you would like to be notified when I have new yarns ready.
